Tofu Bunny started out as a place where I would document all the delicious vegan eats I encounter in the San Francisco/Bay Area. But after one particularly nasty battle with cancer, I had to move to a permanent feeding tube for all my nutrition. So while food is out, life and living is still in!
So Tofu Bunny is a bit in limbo, but I’m still here, still vegan, and still writing. And while I no longer eat the same way most people do, I can still cook, and write recipes (I am a trained vegetarian chef after all.) Beyond food, I love making jewelry, knitting, playing with our rescue dogs, and walking around the neighborhood taking photos.
In November 2018, I attended the Main Street Vegan Academy in New York City, and earned my Vegan Lifestyle Coach and Educator (VLCE) certification. It was an amazing and unforgettable experience. You can read about my time in NYC here.
I’m married to an incredibly kind and patient man, and we live with our four rowdy dogs in Berkeley, California.
Welcome to Tofu Bunny.
